Every moment in the studio is driven by
decision making. Do I paint with this brushstroke? Which color conveys
the emotion better? and then...do I dare cut up this up? Each decision
takes me into the unknown. Initially it is scary, but then
the fear is replaced with the calm of knowing that there will always be
decisions to make. None are necessarily good or bad. Just decisions
or "choices". That is what captivates me and keeps me coming back for
more!

Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great photo! Your work is so exciting hanging all together like that. And yes, my husband and I just had this same discussion over dinner, regarding making decisions during the design process. Hope the year is off to a great start for you!
Thank you Gloria!
DeleteThe year is off to an exciting start!!!! More on that later. Ironic that you mention your husband. I've been having more and more conversations with mine about how to proceed. He is such a valuable "business partner" (Ha!!!) He always seems to see the big picture, full of encouragement to keep pushing, growing, and expanding. It is so important to have someone like that in your corner, don't you think?
Happy Year Lady!!!
Mary
